JPA + UTM + Tenji2!

This is definitely the craziest Friday ever in my life!

First was JPA Interview. It was 9.40am. And the atmosphere was quite tensed actually. And I was a little nervous in the waiting room...Maybe because this was the first interview, and it was in the morning.

The interviewer panel consists of 3 Malays, 1 male, 2 females. As my panel consists of physicist, architect, lawyer, engineer and chemist, so the questions that they asked were actually quite general. The first question they asked was about Facebook. And we had to answer it in our career perspective. The second question was: Why study overseas? Then they even asked us should government make students who study in overseas work in the respective country first before come back to Malaysia? Then the fourth question was, how do you (as your chosen career) help the country in reducing the unemployment rate? Then.... I think that's just all about it.

Generally, I don't think my panel answered what the interviewers wanted, we just answered in a very very common way, which doesn't really impress them.

Somehow, the main point is, I had officially failed the interview session because the interviewer didn't even ask me which country do I prefer to do architecture. So, that was the end of story...

Second was the UTM interview. This time was 2.30pm. This was very fun and challenging actually. And it was quite interesting as well. The whole process is divided into 3 parts, which was the drawing part, which they actually wanted to test us on our confident lines, perspective views and some other elements. Then the second part was a written test. To test you the knowledge of architecture. You have to do some drawing in this part. Then lastly, is the interview part.

The interview session was conducted in a very mischievous way I'd say. Because you don't really need to be very serious when answering those questions. The interviewers are quite friendly as well. Questions they asked first is of course, why architecture? So I have answered what I had say in my JPA, so no big deal. Then, they take out the drawing which I drew in the first session and ask me why draw that scene?

The most interesting moment is actually when they ask me how do I think about the campus. And without hesitation, I said very old, and looks very not-interesting. They SHOOT me back! But in a very humour way. They said: Then do you also mean that the buildings in Melacca are also not nice?? Haha.... well, then the discussion and interaction went on and on...

They too ask me about the buildings in Malaysia that I like, so I tell them KLCC and Carcosa Seri Negara. They seemed surprised with my very contra answer. So they asked why. So I explained my own opinion.....and they are quite satisfy with the answer.

It was around 4 something then and the interview session ended greatly. It was definitely a good experience to share with...then, my body shivered, and gastric pain.... I was hungry!!!!

And so, I went to Tenji2, with my cousin! Tenji2!~ Overall, it was quite nice, the food served were fresh, especially the oysters, and the escargot! Not to mention about the sashimi as well, it taste just nice!!! Super fresh!!! Ok, we was the second customer, so we had the privilege to eat those just-prepared dishes! And then, there is a lobster salad which is a must try!!! Then we some more had salmon fish head, and lamb chop, then tempura....and many many more!

Not bad right? Haha...so, overall, it was not bad, at least my day did not turn up so bad after all... :)
